Hope In Action: Community-Driven Solutions

Join Pantego Mayor Russ Brewster for an evening of awareness and inspiration at Pantego Christian Academy (PCA). The guest panel will also include Arlington Mayor Jim Ross, Dalworthington Gardens Mayor Laurie Bianco, and Mansfield Mayor Dr. Michael Evans.

Panelists will discuss how they’ve overcome the challenges in their personal lives as well as broader strategies for turning hope into action through community-driven solutions.

You’ll leave motivated, encouraged, and inspired to view adversity as an opportunity to create positive change through collective action. By prioritizing mental health, we can build resilience in our community.

How can you participate?

  • Invite friends, family, and colleagues to join us. This event is free, but registration is encouraged.
  • To signify hope, renewal, and vitality, attendees are encouraged to wear green during this event and on May 15 — the official Hope in Action Day for DFW.

“Together for Mental Health” is an annual event, hosted by Esther D. Scott of Positive Actions International during Mental Health Awareness Month and in support of the “Hope in Action” initiative.

Esther is committed to being a “holder of hope” who recognizes that — through discovery and utilization of our unique gifts — each of us can enjoy a more meaningful, productive, and well-balanced life.

Immediately following this event, a second panel discussion will be held in Spanish at 7:00 p.m.
